Ruth asks…

Vote for prettiest baby?

My daughter happens to be one of them, but ignore that and vote for your favorite. There are 12 adorable babies to choose from and voting takes a second.

http://www.surveygizmo.com/s/288239/cutest-baby-of-green-valley-ranch-contest
Hey, my daughter is #4! lol. But seriously, just vote you fav. There are some cuties there.
Really? Aside from my daughter (#4--- 'm biased) I think #9 is super cute.

andre1 answers:

Definitely your daughter, I think number 12 is just as cute though! I voted for Tahlia :)

Ken asks…

New-built subdivisions with lots of foreclosures?

In Denver we have this large NE part of the city, largely around Green Valley Ranch, that is all newer housing. The area around the houses
is also new... infrastructure, businesses, etc. This is also the only area where I can afford a decent looking home. In my price range of 125K, I can buy in this area, or I can buy a dump in a more established neighborhood, which I won't even consider. Yuck!
What are the dangers of buying a house in a newer built subdivisions
at drastically lower prices than I could find any where else in the metro? How bad of a decision could it possibly be to buy one of these houses, I mean assuming it is in good shape, and not stripped, etc?
It all looks good from the outside when I drive

andre1 answers:

If you don't mind being out there by your little lonesome... Then the only thing I would check out first is whether this development was built in a flood plain and is it worth the commute to your job and your old grocery store? (just in case the infrastructure goes bankrupt too).

Here in CA we have this problem a lot. They ran out of room and somehow got the OK to build subdivision after subdivision in the flood plains.

Don't ever think that it will never happen. It does rain in California.
And when your house sits in a designated flood zone... You are just waiting to be washed away one day.

Helen asks…

What is your opinion on Cleaning up after illegal aliens picked up 200 bags of trash?

A volunteer from Hunters Who Care picks up trash Saturday at Kings Anvil Ranch west of Green Valley. He was among 30 volunteers who picked up 200 bags of trash left behind by illegal immigrants on three ranches. The group represents hunters, guides, sportsmen and hunting clubs who back landowners negatively affected by immigration. The cleanup continues today.

http://www.gvnews.com/articles/2010/03/20/news/42desertcleanup.txt

andre1 answers:

I have seen pictures of what illegals are doing to the land and the animals along their routes. This is disturbing. They are hurting the animal populations by leaving so much garbage behind. Why should they care.

Susan asks…

Has anyone stayed at Sunset Station?

We are going to attend Spotlight Dance National Dance Competition held at Green Valley Ranch but staying at Sunset Station and concerned about transportation back and forth

andre1 answers:

They are owned by the same hotel chain so maybe you should call them and see if they provide a courtesy shuttle. I would take a taxi before you try taking a bus. There are some pretty crazy people on the busses in Henderson.

David asks…

Rock's New Restaurant...winner of Hell's Kitchen?

Rock is now the head chef at Terre Verde, one of 9 restaurants at Green Valley Ranch Resort.
Sorry not a question.....just did this because someone on here stated that they did not see where he was a chef at one of the restaurants so I called and verified this

andre1 answers:

Don't see a question here but I said Rock was going to win from day one. He was the only one with the FIRE in his belly....

Your Questions About Green Valley Ranch

Sandra asks…

Does anyone know what dance studios i can go?

ok so i live in denver co live in green valley ranch and i dont want to go that far to go to dance class but i really like to dance hip hop and im desperate to do some kind of activity so does anyone know anything avalible??! plz i need help

andre1 answers:

Google maps is so helpful in terms of finding dance studios. I just typed in "dance studio denver co" and got the most popular ones in the city.

Http://maps.google.com/maps?oe=utf-8&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&client=firefox-a&um=1&ie=UTF-8&q=dance+studio+denver+co&fb=1&gl=us&hq=dance+studio&hnear=Denver,+CO&view=text&ei=CD97TMGSHIG88gbrz4mfCg&sa=X&oi=local_group&ct=more-results&resnum=1&ved=0CCcQtQMwAA

If you want studios closer to home just type in "dance studio" followed by your zip code. It will list the closest dance studios in your area. Google Maps usually has reviews of the schools too.

If you want to start classes asap then you'll want to register soon because most dance classes are starting right after labor day. ! Hip hop is really fun!

Thomas asks…

Sandy asks…

Where is Hidden Valley Ranch located??

I want to bathe in ranch dressing and cover all my leafy greens in than delicious heaven sauce. please post the exact location of where the ranch man is hiding his dressing.

andre1 answers:

The actual Hidden Valley Ranch (of the Ranch Dressing fame) is located outside Santa Barbara, California. It was founded in the 1950's by Steve & Gayle Henderson, transplants from Nebraska, and operated as a guest ranch for many years. It is no longer open to the public.

Maria asks…

Have any of the winners of "Hells Kitchen" actually kept the jobs as "Head Chef" they've won on the show?

Besides "Rock" who won a position of 'Head Chef" in a restaraunt at The Green Valley Ranch Casino and Resort in in (I think it was) season 3.

andre1 answers:

No I doubt it because when you watch the other seasons it seems that there is a different chef every season, I guess they move on and open their own restaurants.
